Frozen berries with white chocolate sauce

Recipe information

  • Yield

    Makes 6

Ingredients

125g (4½oz) good-quality white chocolate
175ml (¾ cup) double (heavy) cream
2 tbsp rum 500g (1lb 2oz) frozen berries (avoiding strawberries)
Mint leaves, to decorate (optional)

Preparation

  1. Step 1

Break up your chocolate into small chunks and place in a small saucepan over a low heat. Stir continually as the chocolate starts to melt.

    Step 2

Next, pour in the cream, stirring constantly. When the chocolate has completely melted into the mixture, add the rum.

    Step 3

Distribute the berries into bowls. Pour the sauce over the top while hot and, if you like, serve with a mint leaf for decoration.
