In the space of one week back in the spring of 2025, Graham Norton listed two houses across two continents. First up was his historic carriage house in a tiny gated mews in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighbourhood, listed at $6 million (£4.5 million). The second was the presenter's delightful grade-II listed Georgian terraced house on the banks of the River Thames in Wapping. The four-bedroom house is slightly pricier than his New York home, originally listed with Knight Frank for £4.95 million.
Now, while his Manhattan abode has sold, the Wapping house is still up for sale for a London buyer over a year later. Only now it's been reduced by a considerable £700,000, with an asking price of £4.25 million.
The rare London house forms part of two terraces that were originally built for the Dock Masters and Customs Offices back in 1811. His home of two decades is incredibly spacious despite its central location, featuring two reception rooms and five bathrooms and it has some stunning double-height ceilings as well a rather unique feature; an internal patio courtyard garden.
What's perhaps most unique for a house in the area is that it also comes with access to a beach, which reveals itself twice a day at low tide.
With its own beach, beautifully preserved Georgian interiors and its location being a stone's-throw from some of London's most prominent landmarks – this property surelt is one of London's most prime listings.
"My favourite times have definitely been enjoying a drink sitting by the river on a summer’s evening. My least favourite memory in the house was that time one of the dogs got stuck in a neighbour’s shrub." Graham told The Sunday Times when the house was first listed.
