Gordon Ramsay is synonymous with the high-octane atmosphere of three-Michelin-starred kitchens and a global restaurant empire, but away from the pass, his real estate instincts run toward grand architectural escape with some pretty impressive flips along the way. Alongside recently opening a landmark multi-venue dining destination atop London's 22 Bishopsgate, launching his own olive oil, and starring in his raw Netflix docu-series Being Gordon Ramsay, the Next Level Chef has spent three decades building a property portfolio that’s just as colourful. It centres on a Victorian townhouse in Wandsworth, where he lives with wife Tana and their six children, plus a rebuilt coastal home in Rock, Cornwall, and a farmhouse in the Bel Air hills.
Below, we've rounded up Gordon Ramsay's house portfolio, valued at over £25 million.

Victorian Townhouse, Wandsworth, London
Ramsay's roots in Wandsworth go back to 2002, when he paid £2.8 million for a Victorian townhouse in conservation-protected Wandsworth. It has anchored the family, Gordon, Tana and their six children, ever since, and is now valued north of £7 million after two decades of renovation. The house runs on a dual-kitchen system: a domestic kitchen for Tana, and a professional test kitchen built around a custom 2.5-tonne Rorgue range cooker, craned into place before the roof went on. In 2021, Ramsay won planning consent for a 76-square-metre subterranean expansion, excavated by hand rather than machine to spare a protected Purple Beech on the boundary. What emerged below ground is a wine cellar, a boot room, and a master suite that claims an entire floor to itself, dressing room included.
The Edwardian House, London (Sold)
With the Wandsworth build dragging on, Ramsay bought a five-bedroom red-brick Edwardian house in South London in 2023 for around £7.5 million, an interim address with rather more polish than the term "interim" usually implies. It stood in for the family's main townhouse for barely a year. Once Wandsworth was finished, Ramsay put the Battersea house back on the market and sold it in May 2024 for around £7.75 million, a tidy £200,000 ahead of what he'd paid.
Lanarth, Rock, Cornwall
In 2015, Ramsay paid £4.4 million for 'Lanarth', a dilapidated 1920s house above the Camel Estuary in Rock. After a planning battle with neighbours over its scale, he won consent to demolish it, building a glass-and-timber home, completed in 2021, with floor-to-ceiling doors, open-plan living, four en-suite bedrooms and, true to Ramsay form, two kitchens. Now estimated at £10 million to £14 million, the grounds include a pool overlooking the estuary, a wine cellar, and a three-bedroom Garden House for visiting family. Rock earned its keep during lockdown, when Ramsay filmed his viral Ramsay in 10 videos there with his daughters on camera duty, a fittingly low-fi coda for such a high-spec house.
Daymer Bay & Trebetherick, Cornwall
During Lanarth's long renovation, Ramsay needed somewhere to house the family. In 2016 he found Daymer Bay House, reportedly £3.5 million (some accounts say £4 million). A stone-sided mansion on 2.5 waterfront acres near Trebetherick, it had six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a sunroom, and a dining room opening onto outdoor terraces, plus a tennis court, a balcony with estuary views, and a heated pool with its own poolhouse. In 2019, Ramsay was reported to have won planning permission for a wood-clad, igloo-style cabin for the garden, part of the same Estonian-cabin vogue David Beckham had set off with his own home sauna a year earlier. Whether it was built is unconfirmed. Ramsay sold Daymer Bay in March 2021 for £7.5 million, banking a gain of roughly £4 million and setting the record, at the time, for Cornwall's most expensive residential sale. Not bad, as interim addresses go.
Trevail House, Fowey, Cornwall (Sold)
Ramsay's third Cornish property was also his most unusual. A Grade II–listed former Lloyds Bank in Fowey, bought in 2017 for around £2 million and converted into a four-bedroom waterfront holiday let, each bedroom en suite, two kitchens, plus a fireplace-warmed sitting room and a back patio with a firepit and steps to the water. The Ramsays rented it out through Boutique Retreats for up to £7,000 a week. ‘It's the place where I see Gordon truly relax, and the lack of a phone signal is an absolute blessing,’ Tana said of the property in 2018. ‘He has always had an obsession with the sea, and spends hours fishing or just sitting on the dunes. Our children take a dinghy and sit in the estuary and have fun. It's all nice and healthy.’ Trevail House was put up for sale in October 2020, reported at approximately £2.75 million.
Connecticut-Style Farmhouse, Bel Air, Los Angeles
Marking his foray into the American market, Ramsay paid $6.75 million (around £5.1 million) in 2011 for a gated, 1-acre estate in Bel Air Crest. It serves as the family's West Coast base during filming stretches for Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef; the roughly 7,400-square-foot house offers East Coast traditionalism against the Southern California hills, with views across the canyon, city, and Pacific beyond. Designed by architect Ken Ungar with interiors by Carol Poet, the five-bedroom, six-bathroom house is styled as a classic Connecticut farmhouse, with dark hardwood floors, crisp white walls, and floor-to-ceiling French doors onto the grounds. Outside, rolling lawns, stone terraces, an infinity-edge pool, a spa and fire pits surround a two-story guest house, plenty of room for hosting close friends David and Victoria Beckham.
